A-Z Reading Classes for Teachers
Classes based on Project Read and Orton Gillingham are held for teachers each summer in various parts of the state. 2010 Classes:
Columbus: A-Z Phonics: June 28-July 2, 8-4 plus July 12, 9-12 a.m.
Columbus: A-Z Writing and Comprehension: July 5-9, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bellevue:A-Z Phonics: July 19-23, 8-4 plus Aug. 2, 9-12 a.m.
Bellevue: A-Z Writing and Comprehension: July 26-30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Comprehensive Multisensory Reading Instruction for Classroom Teachers

Class focuses on building phonological awareness, phonetic decoding and encoding skills, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension skills in reading development. Practicum is included.
Code Based Instruction at UNL
Code Based Reading Instruction ( SPED 405/805 3 hours)and Code Based Reading Practicum ( SPED 405A/805A 1 hour) will be offered at UNL during the first 5 week session. Class meets from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM in the CEHS building on East Campus. Interested individuals can get further information by going to the UNL website and check out the summer sessions.
