Code Based Instruction at UNL

Each summer the Nebraska Branch sponsors a class at UNL. This class includes a practicum in which each class member tutors one or more students under the direct supervision of Joan Stoner and other NE Branch Board members. [Contact Joan Stoner]

A-Z Reading

Classes based on Project Read and Orton Gillingham are held for teachers each summer in various parts of the state.
2010 Classes:
Columbus: A-Z Phonics: June 28-July 2, 8-4 plus July 12, 9-12 a.m.
Columbus: A-Z Writing and Comprehension: July 5-9, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Bellevue:A-Z Phonics: July 19-23, 8-4 plus Aug. 2, 9-12 a.m.
Bellevue: A-Z Writing and Comprehension: July 26-30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Multisensory Reading Techniques Workshops

On-site workshops for elementary teachers, support staff, and administrators who need practical techniques and strategies for helping students with reading.
